A big warm bowl full of creamy chickpeas tossed with wilted escarole, caramelized onions and raisins is the perfect meal when the season is changing. The raisins sounded weird to me but they offer this dish little pops of sweetness that counters the bitter greens and nutty chickpeas perfectly.
