I made this last night for dinner and was really stunned by how delicious this chicken scampi turned out. I have never made a scampi without lemon but interestingly, I didn’t miss it.
The rich, creamy sauce, onions, and tender chicken served over angel hair pasta made this a recipe that was fit for entertaining.
Though the peppers would have added very nice color and an additional flavor layer, I did not have them and did not use them.
All I can say is I will be making this again….and again!
