I came across this recipe for peanut butter cookies the other day and just had to try them. As you can tell by the number of baked things I have in my recipes, I am not a baker. My passion lies with food, not sweets. Having said that, how much simpler a recipe could one find. Check it out – this recipe for peanut butter cookies has three ingredients – peanut butter, sugar, and an egg.
I love finding recipes that are this simple and taste great. Peanut butter cookies are hard not to like. You can add chips or raisins if you want to make your peanut butter cookies more exciting, but I find the simplicity of this recipe just right.
Note that these peanut butter cookies have no flour in them. That is a big plus for me as I often have guests who cannot eat gluten. It is hard to find dessert or treats to serve when you cannot use flour.
Jiff is my favorite peanut butter, but you can use whatever one you like best. Feel free to use a chunky peanut butter if you prefer it to the smooth variety. This recipe is as quick and easy as buying refrigerator cut and bake cookies.
